Confession: if my partner says 'maybe one day', my brain is already checking train times.
M
And this is why we say 'maybe' and then regret opening our mouths 😂
T
This sounds like a communication problem dressed up as enthusiasm.
D
I KNOW. It just feels like progress in the moment.
K
Progress toward what? She may have enjoyed talking about it. That's not a booking.
R
I've seen people go from 'interesting fantasy' to 'I found a hotel' before the kettle boiled.
M

T

M

R

K
And don't turn 'not yet' into a promise about later.
T
If it's not a yes, stop sending hotel links.
D
Deleting my saved bookmarks as we speak.
M
You can keep the nice hotels. Maybe we just go for breakfast.
