Twelve frames left
From Photo Letters, a Club column. About this column ↗
A roll of 120 film in a Hasselblad 500C gives you twelve square frames.
Twelve. No live preview. No checking whether the person blinked and taking eighty more.
That doesn't make film automatically better. It does make each exposure feel like a decision.

There's a useful lesson for phone photography in there, too: try waiting before pressing the shutter.
What happens in the few seconds when nobody is performing for the camera?
