When the Game Ends
The point isn't the score; it is what you take with you.
Most games have a finish line. A couple's game does not need one. Sometimes the useful moment happens after the last question, when you realize you want to ask something else.
You can stop halfway through. You can return tomorrow. You can disagree about an answer without needing to decide who was right.
One way to continue
After a game, ask: “What was the one answer you didn't expect?” Then let the other person explain without correcting them.
If you had a good time, try another game. If you didn't, say what would make the next one better. Both are useful outcomes.
